Subject
The “Report of excavations along the Via Latina” as conducted by Lorenzo Fortunati in 1857-1858, with its accompanying general plan, still stands as the only comprehensive study on the numerous funerary and settlement remains of the Imperial and Early Christian periods, along the 3rd mile of the Via Latina.
